Zhang Gujiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee, attended the event and made an important speech. He said that Tangshan is speeding up the construction of a national logistics hub carrying city and building a trillion-level logistics industry base facing Northeast Asia and radiating Central and Eastern Europe. Zhang Gujiang pointed out that Tangshan will promote the high-quality development of the logistics industry from three aspects.

The first is to focus on optimizing the spatial layout of modern logistics, and speed up the construction of national first-class logistics park layout cities. Build a modern logistics space network system of "one center, multiple nodes, and full coverage", build a modern international logistics center in Caofeidian, build an important modern logistics hub and strategic node city based on Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, serve the Bohai Rim, and radiate Northeast Asia, and accelerate the construction of Start a large port, a large channel, a large logistics, and a large trade pattern.

The second is to focus on improving the modern logistics development system and accelerate the construction of a national logistics hub carrying city. Taking Hebei provincial logistics park as a platform, vigorously develop smart logistics, bonded logistics, cold chain logistics, airport logistics, expand and strengthen commodity warehousing logistics, and build a trillion-level logistics industry base facing Northeast Asia and radiating Central and Eastern Europe.

The third is to focus on promoting the quality and efficiency of modern logistics, and accelerate the construction of a modern logistics demonstration city in the national circulation field. Give full play to the functions of Caofeidian Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Jingtang Port Bonded Logistics Center, run a comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zone, and strive to build Tangshan Port into a major hub port for energy and raw materials serving major national strategies, a world-class comprehensive trade port and opening to Northeast Asia bridgehead.
